E saw a big Oklahoma flag as we crossed over the Arkansas River on I-44. The kids spent the morning outside in our friends' pool while S worked at the office.
J & E posed with a ceramic owl that their late great-grandmother made.
At the Oklahoma Aquarium we watched the otter feeding and saw a real, live octopus.
The boys were glad the fish food stand was open so they could feed stingrays in the Oceans room.
We ate dinner at Joe Momma's pizza downtown, where we saw a big fire in their brick oven. E spotted two O's on their sign as we left.
Next we walked to the Drillers game at OneOk field. Look, an oil derrick!
As we walked to the outfield playground, T & E spotted another Oklahoma flag
and "Oily's Outpost",
During the 7th inning stretch, we sang "Oklahoma!" Then E showed enthusiasm for her favorite part of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame": "One... Two... Three strikes, you're OUT!"
When we got home, T & E ate mandarin oranges.
