G day 2010

(S made biscuits & gravy for breakfast, but the kids only ate the b and not the g. Great.)

In the morning we went to the Linnaeus Teaching Gardens at Woodward Park. First we signed the guest book,

then we explored the grounds.

They even have a greenhouse. T & E saw a gate.

Look at all that green grass:

Our picnic at the park included sandwiches, Goldfish crackers, green grapes, & Gatorade.

Next we drove by the historic downtown Greenwood district on our way to Gilcrease Museum. (There we saw another ornate gate at the parking lot entrance.)

Here's G looking at a giant photograph of Geronimo holding a gun.

(As I took this picture, the security guard told me there are no cameras allowed in the museum. Oops.)

Back at home, J & T explored the learning globe in their room.

Later T & E prepared the green beans for dinner. This time most of the family ate gravy (not leftover from breakfast!) with their meatballs.

As the sun set, the kids played with glow sticks.

S & E sang "God is So Good" as E snuggled into bed. G'night!
