Z day: August 6, 2015

For our last letter day, we went to the Tulsa Zoo.
 

(this is the only zebra)

Later we ate some ziti and zuchini

E was not impresses with this "zero" candy bar.

G found some z candy he liked, though!

W day: August 5, 2015

 E woke up early this Wednesday to cut into her watermelon.

Warning!
We went to Big Splash with friends and played in the wave pool.

We also saw Mr. Wills and his family. We know them from WCA.

lunch = Whataburger

(kids acting weird)


The  moon was a waning gibbous.

Later we went to Catoosa to see the famous Blue Whale on Route 66.

This K day was low-key. 

(Everyone is kinda over LotD.)

We ate kung pao for lunch at KingsPointe.

 

 The boys had words with ks on their shirts:

 We visited our veterinarian, Uncle Pat. 
(He goes by Dr. Cunningham 
at VCA Woodland East).

On the way home, the kids spotted 

Vo's Tailor Shop.

At the grocery store we saw some violets.
 

The recipe for dinner (J's favorite, chili beef) calls for V8.
