Lunch included fettuccine and fruit salad. T and E helped make some fruit punch from frozen concentrate.

Just as we got to our neighborhood fire station, the brave firefighters received a call, so instead of a tour, we witnessed the flashing lights and sirens come on as the truck pulled away. Of course, we had to run around the building fast to take this picture:
Next we visited a lovely little flower shop where the friendly florist gave E a pink gerber daisy.
J and E played Family Feud on Wii, then G and J played Force Unleashed.
For dinner we filled our tummies with baked fish and fresh corn on the cob from the farmers' market.
We watched a few foul balls and some rainy fireworks at OneOK field.
For bedtime stories, E chose fairy board books and Falling Up, then she found lots of "f" words in the first Fancy Nancy.
Finally, we said goodnight to the fluffy frog on her floral pillow.
