B day 2010

This morning the boys (and E) ate bacon and bread at breakfast (S forgot to buy biscuits and blueberries). T ate a little bite of brown sugar, too, just for remembering that it starts with the letter of the day :)

We drove across the Arkansas River on a bridge and saw big buildings downtown. The kids played board games at NeNe's house, then we went to the bakery for lunch. (They were sold out of bagels.)

E got a little help from her brothers (in blue shirts) while bowling.

Are bowling balls supposed to bounce? Whatever he did, it worked; here is G after two strikes in a row:

Back at home, E baked some brownies.

G played his new Star Wars Battlefront DS game (that arrived on our porch in a box.) E played with her baby dolls.

In the evening we saw lightning and heard some thunder booming, too, so instead of going to a baseball game, we settled for these bats and buckets of baseballs.

Bean burritos and beef tacos for dinner at Taco Bueno, then off to the bookstore, where the younger ones immediately picked up Berenstain Bears.

(When did he get so big?)

Everyone brushed their teeth and E had a bubble bath.

E and T found these words in their bedtime stories:
Barbie, bride, beads, bow, ballet
brave, badger, butterfly, bark, bird

J snuggled up with his favorite brown bear

then everyone went to bed.
