W day 2013

breakfast = whole wheat waffles

E wore white shoes; T & E wore last year's Team Kaleb shirts with whales.

E noticed white cars on the winding road to our first adventure.

We went for a walk at Woodward Park. The weather was windy and warm.

J, who wisely carried a water bottle, found water lilies in the Rose Garden.

lunch = Whataburger
(The kids didn't really want to pose in front of the windows.)

Later... a backyard water war with T's best friend W and his sister Wh ;)

snack = watermelon wedges

E changed into another "W" shirt with the logo of the best school in town, Wright Christian Academy.

then she played some Word World games on pbskids.org

We watched the original Willy Wonka with cousins at Grandma's house.

On the way home we practiced whistling.

bedtime stories:

Bear Wants More by Jane Chapman, illustrated by Karma Wilson

All the World by Liz Garton Scanlon, illustrated by Marla Frazee

(This book is excellent, one of my most-favorites!)
