Welcome to my infamous biennial summertime kid torture: Letter of the Day! Lucky G will miss the first couple of days as he is at overnight church camp for the first time. I'm saving his handwriting sheets for him, though...

You'll notice LotD is not in alphabetical order. My calendar is (very roughly) based on the letter order in Handwriting Without Tears (Printing) by Jan Olsen. While I won't follow the book exactly, I do try to follow the author's logical sequence of letters based on how the lower-case letter is formed. For example, first comes "magic C", then O; V, then W, etc.

For the older boys, this year we are trying out a Christian Liberty Press book from Mardel: Writing with Prayer by Michael J. McHugh.
